Showing a sign that new president Mark Pedowitz is serious about getting an audience for the network, Deadline.com is reporting that The CW has picked up the new Sarah Michelle Gellar-starring drama Ringer, where it is sure to be a better fit than it was for CBS.
Considering SMG’s Buffy helped define The CW’s predecessor The WB, this could be fantastic news if true. The show also features CW fan favorite Kristoffer Polaha of Life Unexpected fame.
