Supernatural creator Eric Kripke‘s pilot for NBC is going to be shot.
NBC has put in a pilot order for Revolution, a high-concept series executive produced by JJ Abrams and Bryan Burk of Bad Robot. Kripke co-wrote the pilot script with JJ Abrams for this Warner Bros. Television project.
THR describes Revolution as “a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.”
Since ABC currently has an afternoon show titled The Revolution on weekdays, it remains to be seen if this show will have to change its name.
In other Kripke news, with all of The CW’s pilot orders, it seems there are no updates to be had on Deadman. Still, Supernatural fans especially should be very happy with today’s announcement.
