Would You Like Other Heroes On The CW’s Raven TV Series?

New Teen TitansThere are already three pages of comments on the Raven thread on our forums, with several expressing the sentiment that they’d like to see other characters from DC Comics’ Teen Titans within.

I myself was recently re-reading the excellent Teen Titans Companion book by Glen Cadigan, and I was reminded of the many rich and involved characters in the New Teen Titans heyday where everything Marv Wolfman and George Perez created was gold. Raven was just one of several characters with parental issues… and her interactions with other characters such as Robin (Dick Grayson) and Changeling (now better known as Beast Boy) made her character even more interesting.

But then again… is Raven a character who might work better alone on television, in this case? Could a half-demon girl make for an interesting TV show by herself? Legions of Raven fans can’t be wrong… but I’d be very curious what the KSiteTV readership thinks. So on that note… here’s a new poll!

They could connect the two using Lee Thompson Young!

I think most would prefer another season of Smallville, if it meant a whole year with Clark as Superman in full costume…rather than a Raven series.

Definitely not “most” as far as I’m concerned. They’ve announced this as the final season of Smallville, let them go out on a high note. Most shows don’t last 10 seasons. I think it’s good to try something new.

Would rather see a Teen Titans show, without a doubt. If it’s mostly from Raven’s perspective, thats fine by me.

Seeing as how outside of Trigon, Raven doesn’t really have her own story, of course they’re going to use other DC characters.I think that’s a good idea. They have access to dozens of supernatural heroes and villains to weave into the show.

While I would have preferred a Zatanna series, Raven works just fine.

CW would be fools to limit the show to one superhero character, when such a wealth of comic-universe characters and plots are available.

    7. Brody on Dec 20, 2010 2:58 pm

The Doom Patrol would be a perfect show on the CW. A group of outcasts who get taunted and feel like outsiders until they form into this group that fight against a superpowered mafia like group known as the Brain. That would be sick!

    8. Lucy on Dec 23, 2010 4:36 pm

i would hope that if they do bring on the raven, that they include some of the characters from smallville, like green arrow and the rest of the justice league. and, of course, chloe as watchtower.
