A 1974 pilot by Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry that aired as a TV movie might get a second chance at life, according to THR’s Live Feed.
The site reveals that Gene Roddenberry’s son, Rod, has formed an agreement with Imagine Television in which they will develop a new version of The Questor Tapes. Dollhouse and Lois & Clark alum Tim Minear is in negotiations to produce.
“My father always felt that Questor was the one that got away,” Rod Roddenberry said. “He believed that the show had the potential to be bigger than Star Trek.”
