OWN has released a look at the rest of Queen Sugar season three and in it, we see that things won’t be getting easier for the Bordelons anytime soon.
Charley continues her covert mission to bring down the Landrys once and for all, which is helped by Vicky’s discovery of Sam’s debt. However, the decision to not let Vi and Nova in on the plan could come back to bite her, even if she’s able to explain that this business she’s doing has a different end point than they’re thinking. Ralph Angel, meanwhile, tries to adjust to the knowledge that Blue isn’t his biological son only to come face to face with Darla; Vi feels the pressure from Hollywood over her work schedule and how she manages her lupus; and Nova runs up on a case of writer’s block just as she quits her job at the paper and takes a risk on herself.
Queen Sugar airs Wednesdays at 10:00 on OWN.
What did you think about the first two episodes of season three? Just how badly will Charley’s plan to bring down the Landrys blow up in her face? In what way will Darla’s reappearance impact this new dynamic that Ralph Angel is trying to build with Blue?
