A new episode of Power Rangers Super Megaforce premieres this Saturday at 12p.m./11c on Nickelodeon. It’s entitled “A Lion’s Alliance”, and we have an episode description and preview clip. Here’s how they describe it:
Determined to strengthen their defense against the Armada, the Rangers head to a mystical airborne island named Animaria in search of the wild yet powerful Red Lion Zord.
The episode will feature the Rangers returning to the magical homebase from Power Rangers Wild Force, the 10th anniversary season back in 2002. It seems that the Red Ranger’s Lion Zord has been patiently waiting for the new set of Rangers to lead him back into battle! Interestingly, the floating island is referred to as “Animaria” instead of Wild Force’s name “Animarium.” Knowledgeable fans (or anyone who knows about the RangerWiki) will assert that the Animarium legend calls it the last piece of an entire continent called Animaria…so technically Gosei isn’t incorrect, but it’s still a little odd to use that term.
