FX has released another preview for upcoming ballroom drama Pose and in it, we see what happens when ambition in its many forms collides over one moment in time.
From Ryan Murphy (American Crime Story), Brad Falchuk (Glee), and Steven Canals (Dead of Summer),Posetakes place in New York City during 1987 and follows the juxtaposition of the rising ballroom scenewith the luxury of a Trump-era universe that features a bustling downtown social and literary scene.Set to feature the largesttransgender series regular cast ever, as well as the largest LGBTQ cast ever for a scripted series, Pose follows New Jersey couple Stan (Evan Peters) and Patty (Kate Mara) as they’re caught in the vortex of a changing society that offers them things they couldn’t have otherwise imagined.
In addition to Peters and Mara,Posestars James Van Der Beek (Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt.23), Billy Porter (The First Wives Club), and newcomer Ryan Jamaal Swain. The series joins a drama slate for FX that includes American Horror Story, Snowfall, and Trust.
