Once upon a time, there was a character on Person of Interest named Joss Carter, played by the very talented Taraji P. Henson. Carter’s death in the series was the sort of thing where you couldn’t help but get sad when you’d see the “best of the season” reels, as her character’s ending was so heartbreaking.
Time passes, and this season, Henson landed the role of Cookie Lyon in FOX’s hit series Empire – and we still missed Carter, but seeing Taraji playing such an instantly-iconic new role did make things easier.
Person of Interest is going to tug at our heartstrings again, though, with a new episode of the series called “Terra Incognita.” In the episode, Reese finds himself on a perilous personal journey when he takes on a homicide case Detective Carter was never able to close. And, yes, we’ll be watching.

It was sooo sad tonight!! So happy to see Carter back,really loved her character! The shows not the same without her. But i am glad that they finally said their goodbye
