Three More Pilots For The CW: Still No Amazon Or Tomorrow People

The CW has picked up three more pilots for possible Fall 2013 schedule placement, and, sadly, neither Amazon nor the Julie Plec-Greg Berlanti Tomorrow People seem to be on the list (yet). The Robin Hood-inspired Sherwood is also lacking an order (so far).

What we do have in addition to the pilots picked up earlier this week are some high-concept, potentially expensive choices. Here are the new pilots being greenlit, with details coming courtesy of THR:

The Hundred: The hour-long entry is set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization. A spaceship housing the lone human survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth to investigate the possibility of re-colonizing the planet. Based on an upcoming book by Kass Morgan.

Oxygen: The most interesting-sounding of the new entries, Oxygen is about an epic romance that ignites between a human girl and an alien boy when he and eight others of his kind (The Orion 9) are integrated into a suburban high school 10 years after they and hundreds of others land on Earth and were immediately consigned to an interment camp where they’ve been imprisoned ever since.

Reign: A fantastical drama which centers on the previously unknown and untold story of Mary Queen of Scots’ rise to power when she arrives in France as a 15-year-old, betrothed to Prince Francis, and with her three best friends as ladies-in-waiting. The hour-long effort will touch on the secret history of survival at French Court amidst fierce foes, dark forces, and a world of sexual intrigue.

Do any of these projects sound good to you? Or are you hoping for more? Leave some comments below!

      The Hundred!!!!!

Hoping for Tomorrow People, Sherwood, or Embrace.

the only one that sounds like something I would watch would be Oxygen. Sort of reminds me of Roswell (which I loved!) except for the imprisoned part.

It sucks cuz I was actually really looking forward to Amazon, The Tomorrow People, Sherwood and the rumored Sleepy Hollow.

These all sound HORRIBLE! The only one so far I’m willing to watch is The Originals. Everything else sounds horrible.

I hope there’s a little bit of hope for “at least” Amazon and The Tomorrow People.

      Hoping for:
      ELECTROPOLIS
      AMAZON
      SHERWOOD
      TOMMORROW PEOPLE

in that order, please CW make it happen

At least FOX has a Sleepy Hollow project… with big name producers so you know it’ll be good.

Tomorrow People was just ordered. Too bad about Amazon though. This is attempt number 3 on that character now, clearly there’s something about the character that’s hard to translate into modern day.
