SHILO: Are Constantine’s similarities to Grimm going to help the DC-based series gain the ratings foothold that Dracula and Hannibal couldn’t find?
CRAIG: I think so. I hope so. The DC Comics connection can’t hurt, either. Grimm and Constantine should go together very well, actually; I can see fans of one being interested and into the other. Sometimes you don’t need something too deep for Friday night; a good supernatural one-two punch might be a fantastic pairing.
For me, as a fan of the comics and comics-inspired shows, I LOVE that there is a show to look forward to on Friday nights again. I can’t wait to see how the Zed character is introduced, and I’m very interested in seeing how DC Comics concepts like The Spectre manage to fit in on the show. In a Fall TV season where Gotham and The Flash are getting all the press, Constantine could really surprise people. And, like I said, it should go really well with Grimm.

BATB is not an 8pm show, though. The tone fits 9pm.
Still miss Dracula. Want more Crossbones. Still think the CW should confine reality shows to summer.
