SHILO: I think CBS holding steady on Fridays makes sense. There’s so much change elsewhere on the schedule that they need a stable night and making that night Fridays, where syndication dynamos Hawaii: Five-0 and Blue Bloods still put up respectable numbers, works for me. I wouldn’t be surprised, though, if one of the Friday dramas were to conclude next season and something from earlier in the week got put out to pasture here.
CRAIG: Wow. Here I was having trouble finding a place for Supergirl and CBS goes and gives it a much better slot than I could have imagined. Ultimately, it was probably smart to bring back Hawaii Five-0, if it’s still bringing in money and audiences, and Blue Bloods seems to be a super solid performer for CBS on Fridays at 10, so they may as well not mess with it.
