Last year was a great year to be a DC Comics fan who also likes TV, as we had four series on the air at one time (Arrow, Flash, Constantine, and Gotham) with a fifth (iZombie) waiting in the wings. With the 2015-2016 development season, adaptations of Supergirl and the Vertigo series Lucifer are soon to be filmed.
Assuming this good fortune comes for DC in the future, what projects could be looked at next? We’ve listed eleven that we’d like to see; if you have your own additions, leave comments. A concerted effort was also made to include properties from DC’s Vertigo imprint, which is what spawned Lucifer and iZombie in the first place.
We haven’t done a column like this in a while, but the last time we did, in May 2013, our choices included The Flash, Titans or Nightwing, and Gotham, so let’s see if we have the same kind of predictive luck this time around.
So, here are some show suggestions. Please note that projects like DMZ, Preacher, and Titans/Nightwing are already in development and thus, are not included on this list. We also did not individually include Atom and Firestorm, in the event that Arrow/Flash spin-offs are coming for those characters. Enjoy!
COFFIN HILL (VERTIGO)
This still-ongoing series collected in two trade paperbacks comes from novelist Caitlin Kittridge. It seems perfectly suited as a series that would fit in well on a network like The CW.
The best way to describe it would be with the write-up on the Vertigo website:
"Coffin Hill stars Eve Coffin, a rebellious, teenage lowlife from a high-society family with a curse that goes back to the Salem Witch trials.
Following a night of sex, drugs and witchcraft in the woods, Eve wakes up naked, covered in blood and unable to remember how she got there. One friend is missing, one is in a mental ward—and one knows that Eve is responsible.
After a stint as a Boston cop that ends in a bullet wound and unintended celebrity, Eve returns to Coffin Hill, only to discover the darkness that she unleashed ten years ago in the woods was never contained. It continues to seep through the town, cursing the soul of this sleepy Massachusetts hollow, spilling secrets and enacting its revenge."

I’m surprised Wildstorm wasn’t included as well since DC owns Wildstorm.
There just wasn’t anything Wildstorm related that I’m really aching to see in live action… Sleeper, maybe?
