When Xavier discovered the existence and trajectory of the asteroid, the weight of the world was finally lifted from his shoulders. Sure, there was a sense of grief knowing that he was living in the last days of the world, as well as frustration that no one seemed to care, but having a finite amount of days left allowed Xavier to live without limitation. This was the time to get the most out of life that he could, to chase every desire he’s ever had and make peace with everything that’s ever gone wrong, but what happens when the way he’s been living comes back to bite him?
On the next episode of No Tomorrow, Xavier is faced with the consequences of his lifestyle, as his unpaid debts finally catch up with him. Part of what has motivated his approach to life since discovering the asteroid was that he wouldn’t have to face the repercussions of his actions; any weird looks or embarrassing incidents didn’t matter in the long run, so there was nothing deterring him from going after what he wanted. Now, though, there’s something that could negatively impact the remainder of his days, something that could hinder him living his life the way he wants. Xavier has come too far and gotten too much out of this phase of his life to allow anyone to come in and mess it up, but will he have no choice in altering his lifestyle? And if he can’t live as freely and openly as he would like, does the idea of his apocalist have the same meaning as it once did?
Elsewhere on No Tomorrow, Evie works to make things right between her parents, while Karima forges a surprising new connection and Hank uncovers a secret about Deirdre.
No Tomorrow airs Tuesdays at 9:00 on The CW.
Will Xavier be able to square away his debts? What do you think has gone wrong with Evie’s parents? How will Hank react to Deirdre’s secret?
