When The BBC aired the first half of the Merlin series finale, we saw Morgana continuing her assault on just about everyone. Arthur led his warriors into battle, all while Merlin was a no-show — he’d been rid of his powers. Merlin went to a special place where he could embrace his destiny in a scene right out of Smallville’s series finale where Jonathan Kent told Clark to “always hold on to Smallville.” And now, Merlin emerges from the cave — looking more like the traditional, old Merlin from legend… or is this Emrys? (Despite the time of year, it’s not Santa Claus)

I’m from Chicago and began to watch Merlin through Netflix. It has sadden me to know Merlin is coming to an end. Blending Drama, action, romance and comedy it became by far the best TV Series I’ve ever seen. I was hoping to see Merlin and Arthur grow old together. I take my hat off before the producers, excellent job!! The actors and actresses performance was superb!
