A new episode of Madam Secretary airs tonight at 8PM (ET/PT) on CBS.
The episode is called “The Kill List,” and in it, as Elizabeth prepares for the arrival of Iranian President Shiraz to sign a nuclear treaty, she uncovers a top secret plot to assassinate him on United States soil. At the same time, she must deal with a massive protest by the Human Rights Campaign in response to Iran’s plans to stone a gay citizen to death.
“The Kill List” also involves Elizabeth seeing a therapist, Dr. Kinsey Sherman, to deal with her PTSD. Some promotional photos can be found below, including some shots of the Academy Award-nominated guest star, Marsha Mason, who plays Elizabeth’s therapist.
