    MacGyver Episode 2 “Metal Saw” Spoilers – Amy Acker Guest Stars

    Whedonverse and Person of Interest favorite Amy Acker guest stars as Jack Dalton’s ex in the second episode of CBS’ new incarnation of MacGyver.

    In “Metal Saw,” MacGyver and the team attempt to rescue Sarah (Amy Acker), Jack’s former CIA partner/ex-girlfriend who went missing in Venezuela after she obtained evidence to take down an international arms dealer. The episode airs Friday, September 30.

    UPDATE: CBS as now released more photos to promote Episode 2, though interestingly, no fuller-sized stills of guest star Amy Acker. Hopefully these will be to your liking, though!

    The new MacGyver series stars Lucas Till (Angus “Mac” MacGyver), George Eads (Jack Dalton), Sandrine Holt (Patricia Thornton), Justin Hires (Wilt Bozer), and Tristin Mays (Riley Davis).

    Guest stars in “Metal Saw” include Amy Acker (Sarah Adler), Aina Dumlao (Andie Lee), Jocko Sims (Jimmy Green), Al Vincente (Julio), G-Rod (Marco), Jonathan Ralph Fritschi (Sweaty Cashier), Billy Blair (Creepy Guy), Andrew Yun (South Korean Leader), Preston James Hillier (Jeff), Carlos Guerrero (Alfredo Barrios), Alan Richmond (Luis), Jorge Longoria (Hospital Guard #1).

    The episode is written by Craig O’Neill and directed by Jerry Levine.

      Amy Acker is not good. She was never good. Quality is something different. But not her acting.

      Amy Acker makes any show worth watching. She’s such a good actress deserving of all the critical praises she’s received for Root, Fred, Illyria, Beatrice et al. Can’t wait to watch her next character creation. Loved Root.
