AMC has released a first look sneak peek at upcoming entrepreneurial dramedy Loaded and in it, we see that sometimes financial success can have significant drawbacks.
Based on Israeli series Mesuradin and adapted for English television by Jon Brown (Veep), Loaded follows best friends Josh, Leon, Ewan, and Watto as they sell their video game company for millions and eagerly embrace a life of financial freedom. However, for all the perks that come with this monetary windfall, they didn’t count on having to answer to someone like Casey, the terrifying, elusive, and narcissistic head of the company that bought their company and the executive directly responsible for the acquisition in the first place. In all matters relating to their company, Josh, Leon, Ewan, and Watto will be answering to Casey, who is bound and determined to make this transaction a success by any means necessary.
Joining a scripted slate that includes The Walking Dead, Humans, The Son, Fear the Walking Dead, Into the Badlands, and Halt and Catch Fire, Loaded stars Jim Howick (Broadchurch), Samuel Anderson (Doctor Who), Jonny Sweet (Babylon), Nick Helm (Uncle), and Mary McCormack (In Plain Sight).
The series premiere of Loaded is set to air Monday, July 17th at 10:00 on AMC.
