NBC has released a trailer for Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders, one of its two new shows to premiere this fall.
Starring Emmy winner Edie Falco (The Sopranos) as defense attorney Leslie Abramson, Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders is a dramatization of the 1989 Menendez murder trial in which affluent California brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez were put on trial for the brutal murder of their parents. The story became a national sensation that The Menendez Murders will examine, from the players involved to the crime itself and the surrounding media circus, in the vein of FX’s American Crime Story and USA’s upcoming Unsolved.
In addition to Falco, Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders stars Gus Halper (Goat).
