FOX set the last of its January premiere dates on Tuesday by announcing medical drama The Resident will get the post-NFC Championship game berth on Sunday, January 21st before airing its time slot premiere Monday, January 22nd at 9:00. Additionally, airport comedy LA to Vegas will be assuming the Tuesdays at 9:00 slot beginning January 2nd, pushing The Mick to 9:30 and cop comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine into hiatus.
Also notable about the schedule is that The Last Man on Earth, which typically takes a midseason hiatus before returning in the spring, is staying in January, while the final season of New Girl and Showtime at the Apollo are nowhere to be found.
