Opening titles for TV shows are sadly a dying breed, despite the catchiness of some recent entries like the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt opening and the epic feeling one gets watching an intro to Game of Thrones.
Thankfully, one particular upcoming CW television series will have opening titles, and in having them, they go to the show’s source material.
That series is iZombie, which premieres Tuesday, March 17 and is based on the DC/Vertigo comic book series by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred. The iZombie opening titles are based on Allred’s designs, and they get viewers primed and ready for what will soon be their favorite TV zomedy. We’re also quite fond of the music that goes with the titles.
