“Amell Wednesdays” are soon to be a thing as The Tomorrow People joins Arrow on the CW schedule Wednesday night, October 9.
We recently visited the Vancouver-based set of The Tomorrow People and interviewed the cast, and one of those cast members that we spoke to was the series lead, Robbie Amell. You’d think that with a name like “Amell” that he might be related to that guy from Arrow… if that is your thought, then you are correct: They are cousins.
We’ve split our Robbie Amell video into two parts, and in this first part, Robbie talks about whether or not he is nervous for the show, his character’s relationship with best friend Astrid, and the show’s excellent fight team.
Here’s Part 1 of our interview, which may contain some minor spoilers:
“It’s wild, people have asked me if I’m nervous about the premiere. Last time someone asked me was a month ago. But a week before I will be, but I’m not so much nervous as I am very excited. I really hope the show does well, I’m very proud of it and I would like to do it for the next six years,” he says.
