Kyle Harris has The CW on his resume, with previous credits including The Carrie Diaries and Beauty and the Beast, and Tuesday night, he makes his way to ABC Family as one of the leads of the new genre procedural Stitchers.
On Stitchers, Kyle plays Cameron Goodkin, a brilliant neuroscientist whose passion comes through in his work. “Cameron was always scouted by the Stitchers program, ever since he was in high school. Maggie, who is in charge of the Stitchers program, always kind of had a watchful eye on him, and she always saw that he was at the top of his class, by an exceedingly large number. And one day, [she] kind of just swooped him up. Told him that he’d be a neuroscientist in charge of this program, in charge of this technology she needed him specifically to run, and I think he kind of found it an opportunity that he took, and yet, he is not able to disclose that with his family or his friends, so he knew it would be a life-changing experience, but one that he hopefully one day will realize it was worth it,” he explains.
You can see our video interview with Mr. Harris below, where among other things, he also talks about why audiences should tune in to Stitchers on Tuesday night. “Tune in, because I don’t think there’s anything else like it on TV right now,” he says. “I think it’s got a great story; it’s got a great cast, and it just reaches lots of audiences. If you’re a girl watching ABC Family, your boyfriends are going to love to watch this with you. If you’ve got kids watching ABC Family, you’re going to want to sit down and watch it with them, because it speaks to a large audience, and I really think that we do a good job of displaying all sorts of genre throughout. So, stay tuned!”
