Red Band Society: Wilson Cruz Previews His New Show

At the PaleyFest Fall Preview for the new FOX series Red Band Society (premiering this Wednesday, September 17), we caught up with actor Wilson Cruz, himself not a stranger to a well-written show with a diverse young cast, having first come to prominence with the mid-1990s series My So Called Life which premiered twenty years ago.

In our interview from the carpet, Cruz talked about his character Kenji and his relationship with fellow Nurse Jackson, played by Octavia Spencer – which he calls “the Olympics of sassiness.”

We also spoke to him about whether or not seeing these new young kids gives him MSCL flashbacks, and whether or not we will see any of Kenji’s romantic life or home life on the show. Enjoy the interview:
