At this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego, Jared Gilmore participated in roundtable interviews to preview the upcoming fourth season of Once Upon A Time, where he plays Henry, son of the “savior” Emma, adopted son of the Evil Queen, and grandson of Snow White and Prince Charming.
At the time of the interview, Jared didn’t know a lot of what was coming, but he did show a lot of excitement for what’s coming up. “Whenever I read the scripts, I’m just … whoa. I’m so excited to read it, and see what’s going for Henry and everyone else in Storybrooke,” he enthuses.
One of those big things coming up is the infusion of characters from Frozen in Season 4. “I love Frozen. I’ve seen it several times. I have a twin sister, and she likes the movie, and so do I,” he says, revealing that the Frozen cliffhanger wasn’t in the original finale production draft last year.
Jared talks about a new job for Henry, but also, he talks about the notion of whether or not Henry misses his life back in New York. He also talks about how Henry has changed and matured since Season 1.
Once Upon A Time Season 4 begins September 29 on ABC.
