Her character’s sister once asked if she wanted to build a snowman, but Elsa’s favorite snowman from Frozen, Olaf, has yet to show up on Once Upon A Time.
At the Vancouver set of Once Upon A Time earlier this week, we spoke with Georgina Haig, who plays Elsa in live action on the ABC Sunday night series, about the missing snowman.
“Where did I put Olaf?!?!” she said in agreement. “He’s my snowman, and they wouldn’t let me have him! I’m upset. I don’t know where he is. I want him very badly, because he’s my favorite character from the movie,” she laughed. “And I don’t know where he is! I think it’s too warm in Storybrooke, basically. But I don’t know. She makes a little cloud for him, so she should be able to… I don’t know. He’s in the North Pole or something, hanging with Santa.”
“I love Olaf,” she promised. “They really did bring in a lot of characters from Frozen, but that, I think, was the one that it’s a bit difficult for them to do.”
Then again, the show has been able to bring in rock trolls, so maybe not all things are impossible.
“Wasn’t that awesome? That was awesome. I loved that,” she enthused. “I think Olaf might pop up at some point. He might have like a mini-cameo. And if he doesn’t, don’t quote me on that!”
A new Once Upon A Time airs this Sunday on ABC.
