As we lead into Monday’s Degrassi premiere on TeenNick, KSiteTV continues to roll out our interviews with the visiting cast of the Los Angeles “Party With Degrassi” event that was held earlier this week. Every day, we’ll be posting a new interview, and on Monday, if all goes well, we’ll have some video posted.
Yesterday we posted our short Q&A with Munro Chambers; today, the attention turns to Jordan Todosey, who plays Adam Torres. Adam is a bit noteworthy in Degrassi history as he is the first transgendered character to appear on the show. In the time that we’ve known Adam, he has gained more acceptance from his peers, and Jordan tells us that some romance might be in store for Adam when the show returns… here’s what Jordan had to say. Questions to Jordan are posted in bold; answers are not. Please do not copy this interview onto other websites, but instead just link to KSiteTV! Thanks!
Your appearance outside of the show is obviously much different than what we see on Degrassi. Do you ever get recognized in public?
Not so much, no. Although the short hair does bring attention, so sometimes. If I’m not wearing too much makeup, they’ll sometimes recognize me.
Adam has gone through quite a journey on the show so far. What will he face when the show returns?
I think he’s just being a guy, being himself. Possibly a little bit of love… who knows?
What can you tell us about this possible love interest?
Maybe a little bit of a secret admirer, but I can’t say too much. I’m not allowed to.
What’s it like to be in L.A. for this Party With Degrassi event?
Oh my goodness! It’s my second time being in L.A., and it’s not quite as warm as it was the last time, but it’s still definitely beautiful.
Come back tomorrow for our short Q&A with Annie Clark (Fiona!)
