A new episode of Constantine airs tonight at 10PM (ET) on NBC, and what better way to get people talking than some speculative talk from “John Constantine” himself?
We spoke with Matt Ryan on the set of Constantine a few weeks back – a time before it was known NBC would cut the cord on Season One after 13 episodes. His words made us want more episodes even more:
“There is some stuff coming up, if we go beyond the 13 episodes. It’s exciting stuff to do with the comics, and I know they’re not holding back in terms of the DC Universe and where we’re going,” he said, before talking about some of what we actually will see. “Anne Marie comes into it. Felix Faust also comes into it. He’s in the comics as well. And then Jim Corrigan and Papa Midnite come back. We’re just about to start an episode now where they’re both in that one,” he says, referring to the 13th episode of the series.
Constantine remains a contender for a second season on NBC, and the best way to ensure a second season for the show is if ratings improve. So, if you’re a fan of the show – and you should be by this point – watch the remaining eight episodes of the show which will continue to air on Friday nights, tell your friends, or watch on NBC.com later. Here’s a trailer for tonight’s episode, “Rage of Caliban.” Photos from the episode can be found here.
