Financially and socially privileged though they may be, those in the Green Zone can never relax into their life of luxury. Instead, they have to constantly work to keep their spot and look for opportunities to get one up on their competition; every single person in a corporation has something or someone to answer to, be they the ever volatile stock markets, demanding executives determined not to fall behind rival companies, or competitive peers jostling for any open spot higher up the food chain. Even with the stress and danger that comes with being in the Green Zone, those who reside within its walls would give their lives rather than face the life of destitution that awaits them in the Red Zone, but what happens when that desire to trip up a colleague begins to consume one’s entire world?
On the next episode of Incorporated, Roger begins enlisting help in order to uncover Ben’s secrets. Thanks to his sojourn into the Red Zone, he was able to hack into Ben’s device and see that his colleague (and rival for Chad’s position) has been running face recognition looking for someone. He doesn’t know who this woman Ben’s searching for is, but if Ben’s spending this much time and effort looking for her, she’s bound to be important to him and, thus, a weakness he can exploit. If Roger can use the connections at his disposal to find Elena, he has quite the bargaining chip when it comes to dealing with Ben, something he can use to possibly leverage his way up the SPIGA ladder. Yet if Ben becomes aware that Roger is poking around in his personal life, particularly when it comes to Elena, Roger might have more things to worry about than his status at SPIGA.
Elsewhere on Incorporated, Theo is tasked with crippling a rising basketball prodigy, while the Larsons and Elizabeth have a major disagreement and a daring heist threatens Aaron’s safety.
