Ahead of its upcoming premiere, Bravo has released an extended first look at sexy con-artist drama Imposters and in it, we see that even in the most loving of relationships, everything isn’t what it seems.
Created by Adam Brooks (Definitely, Maybe) and Paul Adelstein (Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce), Imposters tells the story of Maddie (Inbar Lavi), a con-artist who uses her beauty to entrap her victims in the bonds of holy matrimony. By sussing out the holes in the hearts of those she cons, Maddie makes them feel taken care of and loved before running off with everything they’ve got. But she might have gotten a bit too bold in her approach as a group of her former marks have banded together to bring her down once and for all.
In addition to Lavi, Imposters stars Parker Young (Suburgatory), Katherine LaNasa (Satisfaction), Stephen Bishop (Being Mary Jane), Rob Heaps (Home Fires), Brian Benben (Private Practice), and newcomer Marianne Rendon.
The series premiere of Imposters is set to air Tuesday, February 7th at 10:00 on Bravo. The series joins a scripted slate that includes comedy Odd Mom Out, recently renewed for a third season, as well as Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.
Will you be watching Imposters? Do you think this is the right type of show for Bravo? What type of dramas would you like to see Bravo go after next?
