Deadline.com has revealed Lauren Cohan has landed the female lead role in The CW’s pilot Heavenly, which teams up a young attorney with a former angel named Dashiel Coffee.
Cohan recently had a memorable arc on The Vampire Diaries and is also known to fans for her work on Supernatural.
Also joining the Heavenly pilot is 90210′s Ryan Eggold. Eggold will play a pastor.
Heavenly is a contender for The CW’s Fall 2011 schedule.
