The future of Grimm isn’t so grim.
TVLine broke the news this morning that the NBC Friday night series starring David Giuntoli, Silas Weir Mitchell, and Bitsie Tulloch will live to see a second season. Grimm has been a reliable hit for the network, scoring even better than other Friday night shows like Chuck, Supernatural, and Nikita in the ratings.
The series is a mixture of what happens when a fairy tale meets a procedural, and apparently that mixture is working. The success of Grimm on NBC will hopefully lead to more genre programming on the network in the future.
