News about the Green Lantern project for HBO Max is finally here as the WarnerMedia-owned service has ordered 10 episodes as well as revealing some details about which characters we will see!
Seth Grahame-Smith (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) has been named showrunner of the series which will be co-written and executive produced with Marc Guggenheim (Arrow). The show will be produced by Greg Berlanti’s Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
It has been revealed that Green Lantern will focus on several Green Lanterns, including Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz and Alan Scott — with Scott being Earth’s first Green Lantern, who is said to be portrayed as a gay man as he has been since the “New 52” era of the comics. Stories will “span decades and galaxies,” and fan favorite characters such as Sinestro and Kilowog are said to be showing up. Plus, new heroes will also be introduced to the ranks of the Green Lantern Corps. Give us Kyle Rayner!

Any word on if David Ramsey will be involved?
I doubt it will be connected to the Arrowverse, but I guess we will see.
