FOX has officially confirmed that Chord Overstreet, who left GLEE this summer prior to the start of the third season, will be returning to the series for a “multi-episode arc” that begins in December.
“So here’s an early Christmas present for all the Gleeks—Sam is coming back to McKinley, and just in time for sectionals,” says co-creator Ryan Murphy in a press release.
Overstreet also sounds happy to be returning to the show. “I had the best time on GLEE and couldn’t be more excited to be returning,” he says.
