The sixth season of Glee begins on Friday, January 9, and FOX has released an official description for the season opener that is full of spoilers.
In addition to that, they have released cast gallery images for Season 6 and a trailer surfaced tonight featuring Rachel (Lea Michele) singing “Let It Go” – sadly, not in a duet with her mother.
Here’s how they describe the premiere. Episodic images are not yet available, so watch this space.
After Rachel’s humiliating failure as TV actress, she comes home to Lima to figure out what she wants to do next. Upon discovering that Sue has banished the arts at McKinley, Rachel takes it upon herself to reinstate and lead the Glee Club. Meanwhile, Blaine, no longer in a relationship with Kurt, has moved home to coach the Warblers while Will is coaching rival Vocal Adrenaline, and Sam is the assistant coach for the McKinley football team. Then Puck, Quinn, Santana, Mercedes, Brittany, Artie and Tina all return to McKinley for Homecoming and help Rachel and Kurt recruit for the new glee club in the all-new, special two-hour “Loser Like Me/Homecoming” Season Premiere episode of GLEE airing Friday, Jan. 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
