According to The Hollywood Reporter, The CW’s cosmetics industry pilot Glamorous has added Brooke Shields (Suddenly Susan) in a series regular role. She’ll be playing former supermodel Madolyn, the founder and CEO of a respected cosmetics company who will do anything that it takes to stay at the top of her industry.
The series has also added iZombie‘s Jade Payton as Madolyn’s personal assistant Venetia, an ambitious clotheshorse deeply connected to Chicago’s queer community.
In addition to her starring role on the NBC comedy, Shields’s television credits include Law & Order: SVU, Army Wives, and Jane the Virgin, while Payton has appeared on Good Game and The Rookie.
