File this under “things that would make you feel old, when you realize the original series came on when you were in high school…”
TV Line is reporting that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will indeed be reprising their roles as Cory and Topanga in the Disney Channel pilot Girl Meets World.
In Girl Meets World, Cory and Topanga have a 13-year-old daughter named Riley, who happens to have her dad as her history teacher. (Basically, Cory followed in Mr. Feeny’s footsteps!)
No word yet if others from the original Boy Meets World will be show up, but we’re hoping Shawn, Eric, Feeney, even a Lilly or two might find their way around. (And yes, we echo the millions who are saying this would be a great fit for a revived TGIF on ABC. Sigh..)
