Heroes didn’t get Peter Petrelli back, but Gilmore Girls is getting back their Jess, and Milo Ventimiglia is just one of several casting announcements made today for the Netflix Gilmore Girls revival, created, written and directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive produced, written and directed by Daniel Palladino.
Milo Ventimiglia will be joined by Gilmore Girls alums Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife), Liza Weil (How To Get Away With Murder) and Yanic Truesdale (Rumours), and they will all be returning to their original characters in the Gilmore Girls revival coming to Netflix with four 90-minute episodes. Jared Padalecki (Tall Dean) is apparently still busy hunting on Supernatural.
They join Lauren Graham (Parenthood), Alexis Bledel (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants), Scott Patterson (Saw V, Saw IV), Kelly Bishop (The Good Wife), Keiko Agena (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) and Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) in the Netflix revival series. Hopefully more news – including confirmation of a title – will be coming soon.
