Netflix has made it official: The Gilmore Girls are returning!
While details on the number of episodes have not been confirmed yet, Netflix has revealed that series regulars Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, and Kelly Bishop will all be back, and Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena are also expected to return.
Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino is back as EP, as is Daniel Palladino. They will be writing and directing the series, produced by Dorothy Parker Drank Here Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
As many Gilmore Girls fans may recall, creator Palladino wasn’t present for the original series ending, so this should give her a chance to revisit Rory, Lorelai & co. in Stars Hollow. Keep alert for more details when and if they become available.
