The Cartoon Network’s modern Looney Tunes Show begins its second season tonight at 8PM on the Cartoon Network, and the studio has been kind enough to send some images our way from the season premiere.
The premiere is called “Bobcats On Three,” and in it, Daffy tries his hand at coaching the local kids’ water polo team. His motivational skills are lacking — that happens when you don’t remember the names of your players — but hey, his goalie is 8 foot tall Gossamer. Elsewhere, Bugs finds himself a little out of shape when he becomes addicted to Porky’s cooking.
What we’ve seen of the series thus far, The Looney Tunes Show is a sophisticated successor to the kind of thing we’d see decades ago. Here are the pics… tune in tonight and see what you think!
