A new commercial for AutoTrader.com is a bit of a mini-movie, reuniting John Schneider and Tom Wopat as Bo and Luke Duke in live action for the first time since the “Hazzard in Hollywood” TV-movie.
In the commercial, the aging General Lee is no match for the new cars of the modern police force.
While we’d expect the new Dukes car to be a modern Challenger, and sadly James Best’s Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane is nowhere to be seen, this commercial is still quite a bit of fun for fans nostalgic for The Dukes of Hazzard before some TV network decides to reboot it.

Cute.
But a 1969 Charger being slow? No. No, no, no. Not with a big block 440 or a Hemi. Still leave those modern Chargers in the dust on a straight-away.
I don’t blame them for picking the Viper, though. Now THAT has speed for days.
What??? Where is the big rebel flag? Trade a 69 charger for anything in this world would be insane. Good to see the boys but trade in General Lee! Don’t see that ever happening!
Nice to see the entire commercial, finally! I love it, but the General’s missing the pushbar on the front. Tom and John are still very attractive men. And I also have a hard time believing they’d give up the General for another car.
Still, it’s a great commercial, and it’s nice to know Hazzard County has internet services, not to mention Wi-Fi.
