While FOX won’t be announcing their full schedule until early next week, we do now know what shows they will be picking up. The dramas have already been announced, and now, the network has announced five comedies that they will be adding to the lineup.
Enlisted from creator Kevin Biegel stars Geoff Stults, Chris Lowell, Parker Young, Angelique Cabral, and Keith David and is about “three very different brothers working together in the Army at a small base in Florida.” Dads is about two guys (Giovanni Ribisi and Tommy Dewey) whose lives are thrown upside down when their fathers decide to move in, and it comes from creator Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy).
Us & Them is based on the U.K. show Gavin & Stacey, and was called Friends & Family in development. Like Parenthood, it features Jason Ritter opposite a Gilmore girl; though this time, it’s Alexis Bledel. Surviving Jack is a 1990’s-set series about a father (Christopher Meloni) whose son is coming of age. It’s based on Justin Halpern’s book I Suck At Girls. Finally, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a cop comedy featuring Andy Samberg and Last Resort veteran Andre Braugher.
