Filming has officially begun for the second season of the Paramount+ Frasier revival starring Kelsey Grammer, and to go with the announcement, it has also been announced that Peri Gilpin, who returned as “Roz” for the Season 1 finale, will be back in Season 2 on a recurring basis.
Additionally, legendary director James Burrows will be back to helm two episodes of the new season, which will film in front of a live studio audience at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.
In addition to Kelsey Grammer, the series stars Jack Cutmore-Scott as Freddy, Frasier’s son; Nicholas Lyndhurst as Alan, Frasier’s old college buddy turned university professor; Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department; Jess Salgueiro as Eve, Frasier and Freddy’s neighbor; and Anders Keith as David, Frasier’s nephew. The inclusion of all of these actors in the press release implies to us that the Season 1 cast will all be returning.
Frasier Season 1 is currently available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.
