I saw that too… It came out in 2004 (around the same time as Hugh Jackman’s Van Helsing movie). And the same director made a movie in 2000 (around the same time as Johnny Depp’s Sleepy Hollow) called Sleepy Hollow High.

These movies are not low-budget, they are NO-budget filmmaking. And they are TERRIBLE… Nevertheless, the director actually does have one clever idea:
When he hears there will soon be a movie released about a character in the public domain, he makes his own no-budget movie about that same character (since he does not need any copyright permission). And because the character is popular at the right time, this director sees his movie get distributed on DVD.

Give credit where credit is due: This is a clever way for a terrible director to get distribution for his bad movies.

        • 1. All the Disney live remakes.
Disney has been lazy and playing it safe so much that its movies are banal.

          2. Mean Girls 2.
What a way to trash the Mean Girls series for money.

          3. New superhero films from Marvel.

          4. Sequels from the Friday film.

          5. Lots of sequels.

          6. Pornographic films with dialogue.

          7. Films with Nicolas Cage, YouTubers, TikTokers, Steven Seagal, Arnold Schwarzenegger except for The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Sylvester Stallone, Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Keanu Reeves, Jared Leto, Steve Martin, etc.

Not an interesting movie with vulgar humor, for me personally
