This is just a theory, but I think that Sylars powers aren't working because he's still living in an illusion. I don't think she trusted him enough to drop her guard like that and him killing her was just another illusion.

we all seem to forget after he killed her, she looked like she did in the online comic, so to that effect that is the real her, the overweight girl, if he was still in an illusion, she woulda kept herself looking as she was with the red hair. i mean sylar had no idea what she REALLY looked like, even if she changed into a different looking girl after he "killed" her, no need to go to the form she was trying to hide the whole time. so, yeah, i think its real and shes dead and hes in a jungle with monkies lolComment
