I'm probably alone here, but I thought this was BY FAR the finest writing/acting this series has ever had. The whole idea behind it was fascinating and unique, as were the characters and the dark atmosphere.
I've always been a big fan of Smallville for its general charm but this was the first time the episode took a massive leap for me into a solid work of film making. After all my years of studying film and acting I gotta say I never thought a smallville episode would impress me on this level.
Anyone else feel a *little* bit of the same way?
