If you've seen the classic horror Carrie before you probably know where I'm going with this...
Similarities:
- Carrie had telekinetic powers, just like Sylar
- both went home looking for understanding and consoling from their mothers
- both were instead greeted with fear and hatred and labeled as damned spawns of Satan
- both moms tried to kill/attack their special kids, both got killed instead (hey like JT said, what goes around comes back around, lol)
- Carrie wanted to die after she killed her mother, and she killed herself; it seemed Sylar wanted to die as well when he invited Hiro to finish him, but unfortunately Hiro declined that invitation....
The moral of this story is, don't kill your mother. Unless she tries to kill you first...
