Ep. 2.11 - Playthings

Sam and Dean investigate two strange deaths at a small Connecticut inn run by a single mom (guest star Annie Wersching) whose young daughter (guest star Matreya Fedor) plays with an imaginary friend. The brothers find evidence of voodoo around the inn, but soon realize the little girl's imaginary friend may in fact be a demon who is killing the townspeople

dean saying not that kind of whacking was funny. and him about to lay the F bomb lol. makes me wish this show wasnt edited to be on tv.

Every episode they just make me laugh

I definitely didnt know she was imaginary until the Mom said nothing about her. So far so good

at first i thought it was the little girl that was doing all of it, but the older sister was cool. the ending creeped the heck outta me. i've had child hood tramas that had to do with jump ropes. maily them always hitting me in the face!

omggg the second time someone assumed they were gay... hilarious

i loved when dean made up the whole story about sam loving dolls. he dresses them up and plays with them all the time!! another thing to add on the list of dean calling sammy a girl

sam drunk was hilarious but also sad. shows how much dean hates what john told him. and sammy thinking everything's his fault. and then i thought he would forget, but he didn't.

one of the scariest things are little spirit girls. they give me the creeps. this episode did NOT help!!

next week looks pretty good. the boys in a bank hold up, except there might not be robbers this time.... hmmmmm... lol

Sam - "UGH!! I hate you!"

Sam - "Dean, that woman has had a stroke."
Dean - "says stuff about needing to talk and move to do hoodoo spellwork"
Sam - "Yeah."
Dean - "Or she could be faking it."
Sam - "What are you gonna do, Dean? Poke her with a stick??"
Dean - [gives a "that might not be a bad idea" kind of look]
Sam - "You are not going to poke that woman with a stick!"

Dean is the funniest thing on TV right now, not even close.


Wonder if the "promise" is gonna get alot of 'play' later on too. Very angsty.

Sam was a funny drunk until he started talking about the angsty stuff. "You're bossy. ... and short! *laughs*"


One last Dean-ism......

Dean - "Hey, you could have got a little MILF action going there, Sammy."
Sam - [*snorts*]
Dean - "Seriously man. I think she was really digging you there."



I will say that I was a bit dissapointed in that the "promise" had nothing to do with tonight's case. I thought for sure it would.

But here it was Sam just got drunk to... well, get drunk. Really kind of immature, especially for Sam. But, I guess you gotta show different sides from time to time.

This epi. had soooo many hilarious lines in it

one of my favs was when dean was talking about sams 'doll fetish'.
Dean: "...he likes to dress them up in their little outfits."
Sam: "it's true."
The looks sam kept giving dean were so frickin' hilarious!

*dean gives a look meaning that he thinks it's a good idea*
Sam: "dude your not going to poke her with a stick!"

I think the whole story line was pretty good. But when the brothers were talking about what the dad had told dean I was a bit lost because I missed that last epi.

Can't wait till next week! it looks pretty darn cool

ohh haha i forgot about something wicked. well i would count that as 3, for each episode. they should wear shirts that say WE ARE NOT GAY haha

When Dean asked, "Why does everybody think we're gay?" I was like they've probably seen those Supernatural promos the CW keeps running where they're standing around the car with the green CW background. They look totally gay in that one.

It's almost as bad as Kristen Bell parading around in that liederhosen (sp?) or whatever.

This was a great episode and so funny This one is possibly my favorite of the season. Its a little strange because when I first read the spoilers I thought it sounded okay, but nothing special and it ending up being one of my top 2.

There were so many hilarious lines, but my favorite was definitely Dean's story about Sam's doll collection. The look on Sam's face, while he was having to go along with it, was priceless. Man, if looks could kill Dean would be 6 feet under!

And drunk Sammy was funny too, especially calling Dean "bossy" and "short".

This episode was also, for me, the creepiest in a while. The ending especially really freaked me out. There is just something creepy about little girl ghosts.

Overall great episode and next weeks looks to be even better!

ya little girl ghosts are creepy. that end scene kind of reminded me of those scenes in the nightmare movies with the little girls in white dresses jumping rope.
