Nice compilation of Lois quotations, LovelyLoisLane. Lois has been on only 2 episodes so far, and we already have so many good Lois-isms.

"I can't believe this is the town Starbucks forgot." ~ Lois

I have a soft spot for this line in particular since I'm Starbucks-obsessed myself. Mmmmm...Starbucks mochas are yummy! (Hence, my screen name. )

It is nice when she says something in a certain way, or calls Clark something specific that reminds us of other Lois Lane's we know.

I know, only TWO episodes, and look at all those good lines. How can they NOT have her in the opening credits?

My theory is that TPTB thought that having ED on the opening credits might mislead viewers into thinking that she'll be on every episode. Think about it...there would be mass hysteria and rioting if Lois didn't appear on the screen after viewers were thinking that she would be on the episode.

Anywhoo, another quotation I liked was when she called the Terminator-Lite FOTW "Ginsu-Boy."

Sorry, I don't have her exact words, but I'm at work and can't access the episode for reference.

I also liked the lines Lois said when she was mistakenly under the impression that her father was dating Nellie Blye. She expressed surprise that after 15 years Gen. Lane was finally "getting some action" and told Clark she was actually happy for the "old geezer."

I really liked those lines because even though Lois is supposed to be constantly at odds with her father, the lines show a hint of the underlying affection she has for her dear old dad. I thought her words were typical Lois-speak -- using teasing put-downs (a la calling Clark "Smallville") to express affection.

And sorry I didn't post the lines verbatim. The sad thing is I lost that scene when I accidentally recorded over my SV tape last night. *cries* Although I'm happy to report that I still have the bathroom scene on tape. Wheeeeeeeee!

My favorite Lois quote from "Facade" is hands down her parting shot at Dr. Fine:

              "B***h."

My second favorite is her amusing analogy for Abby getting plastic surgery during her tender years:

"How old is she? Like seventeen? That's like messing with the batter before the cookies are even baked."

My other favorite Lois qoutes from "Facade" were her two great comebacks in response to Clark.

Clark tries to stop Lois after she barges in the boys' locker room: "Last time I checked, you were missing a few prerequisites for being in here."
Lois, the shameless flirt, responds with a smug grin: "So you have been checking me out."

Clark teases Lois on her off-target football toss: "C'mon, Lois. Didn't those guys on the base teach you anything?"
Lois replies in a suggestive tone: "Wouldn't you like to know."

Bwahaha!!! Gotta love Lois. If there was a contest for best zingers, the scoreboard would read...
                      Lane 2
                      Kent 0

                      Go, Lois, Go!

Yeah Lois can win over Clark with comebacks anytime. It's about time someone came in and didn't indulge Clark with his "Woe is me!" behavior.

ETA: Here's another quote that I like.

"That's a recipe for wedgies if I've ever heard one."

"Devoted" was a great episode for Lois quotes. Oh, where to begin, where to begin? I guess my favorites were the ones from her two confrontation scenes with the head bimbo cheerleader. Lois Lane, trash talker extraordinaire!

"It's amazing what a short skirt and the ability to rhyme will get you."

"How many cheerleaders does it take to draw a double helix?"

"What are you gonna do? Cheer us to death?"

I liked it when she told the football players to "bring it on..."
