If they needed Kara gone, couldn't they've simply infect her with blue K (removing her powers) and state her powers will return in a few weeks.

If anyone had even remembered that she was there.

            Again, Lois, wear a costume/disguise.

Can anyone tell me how they even know that Lois had powers?

Lois Lane originated the Power Girl identity, during which she wore a wig. And the more classic Power Girl costume is a body suit, boots, gloves, belt and a cape. You're telling me Lois doesn't have over 90 % of that in her closet?

This plan was so bizarre and Lois really carried the idiot ball this time for accepting the starro device.

Nice cameos. Really gives you a feel of a shared universe, where the other JLA:ers might've had off-screen run-ins with Captain Cold, Black Manta and Solomon Grundy.

Why introduce the bunch of characters for one off-shot episode before the very end?

It shouldn't take her 20 seconds to kill him.

To remind us that the defeat of Darkseid isn't the end of all evil in the world? And we have met most of them before.

Well, at least Kara returned for the season 11 comic...

It's just another way to force Smallville back into the original canon. Like killing Jimmy the Elder, like having Lex' memory erased next episode.
