Haha would be fun if that would have happened, a bit weird too. But after this episode I really got interesting into how she will break the curse, obviously she is doing something to the people to regain their memories. What do you guys think?

So Emma has to make out with the whole town to break the curse?

I think breaking the curse will be finding that one thing that needs to be filled in each individual - not couple. If it was a couple, than Cinderella and her Prince along with Snow and her Prince would have broken the spell when they kissed. I am viewing this similar to the Wizard of Oz. The Tin man (or in this case the Huntsman) needs a heart, the Lion needs courage, and the Scarecrow a brain.
The Huntsman needed a heart because he wanted and needed to feel something again and Emma awoke that inside him. He didn't realize his heart was missing until he started to care again and wanted her not to look at him in a bad way. For the first time, he started having real feelings for someone and that came crashing in when he kissed her.
Right now, we don't know what missing thing is inside the other characters that needs to be found in order for them to remember.
I have two guesses what will wake up Snow. One is her need to know her daughter is okay. She won't realize this until Emma is in danger and could die and it is up to Snow to save her. The other guess is the day Mary Margaret stands up to Regina. Mary Margaret seems timid and afraid of Regina whereas Snow was not. Maybe Snow is missing that inner strength and confidence she showed in fairy tale world. -
It would be funny, for sure hehehe and, if we think about it, mostly curses end up with a kiss on the fairy tales
But i'm with SteelyGal here, to break the course each character has to find the one that that he needs. So it would be different triggers to every one of them At least, that's what i thinkComment

I wonder what Regina is missing. Or if she can't be helped, since she's the one that set the curse to begin with.
It almost sounds very Wizard of Oz. Too bad THAT'S not a fairy tale...Comment

I haven't checked it out myself, but somebody mentioned that the saw the "Wizard of Oz" as one of the stories in Henry's book as he thumbed thrugh it.
Maybe it was while he was on the bus ride back to Storybrooke?Comment

cant remember what part it was but there was a page with the flying monkeys. think it was when emma was in the car.Comment

Right now, Archie believes that Henry still needs his help and he can't leave him until he feels he has succeeded in helping him. Maybe that is his trigger, when he finally believes Henry is in a good place and no longer needs his him, his work will be done and then he will remember.Comment

I hope she starts with Ruby or Ashley or Belle...

@Craig: I don't think they are sticking to a strict dictionary definition of "fairy tale". In fact, the term they use in the opening narration is "story book characters". Not only was Oz referenced but they've also introduced King Midas into the mythos and that's Greek myth.
They also want to bring Aladdin on the show (and we've already seen the lamp). So between that and Oz, they are clearly not restricting themselves to European stories either. I like that. It would be cool if maybe some day they adapt folk tales from other cultures like China, Japan, the Indian subcontinent, etc.Last edited by Exedore; 12-16-2011, 11:16 PM.Comment

I think it may also be related to a connection with Emma? Henry said that Graham regained his memories due to the fact that Emma owed him her life for not killing her mother.
I don't know how that would apply to say like, Ruby or Jiminy since they just seem to be friends of the family, but I think it could be the same for Snow and Charming.

I do also like the idea of Mary Margaret standing up to Regina being a catalyst for her.Last edited by savingpeoplething; 12-17-2011, 06:34 PM.Comment
